Butchering
Butchering is a Gathering Profession that allows the player to harvest and refine resources from the carcasses of low-level creatures.
Bonuses[edit]
- For every increase in Logging's Mastery Level, the player is able to gather higher Tier items.

Below is a list of efficiency percentages and their related bonuses:
Percentage | Description |
---|---|
20% | Reduces gathering time by 2 seconds. Failure chance reduced to 4%. |
40% | Grants chance of gathering Rare items. Grants 2 gathering attempts per node. Failure chance reduced to 3%. |
60% | Reduces gathering time by 2 seconds. Failure chance reduced to 2%. |
80% | Grants 3 gathering attempts per node. Failure chance reduced to 1%. |
100% | Grants chance of Epic items. Reduces gathering time by 2 seconds. Failure chance reduced to 0%. |
Nodes[edit]
A butchery node can be identified with blood floating above an animal carcass.
There are three tiers of butchery node: Lower, Middle, and Prime. The tier of a node can be determined with the animal's Level:
Workbench[edit]

The Butchery Workbench is used to refine resources gathered via butchery.
Nearby workbenches can be identified with the icon on the Minimap.
Items that can be refined using the workbench can be seen below. Players require 5 of any resource to refine it.
