A character is an avatar that represents a persona within Corepunk. These can either be controlled by the player or the game itself (referred to as a Non-Player Character, or an NPC). Usually, the term refers to the persona controlled by the player. These are customized within the Character Creation process that occurs whenever you create a new player character.

Creation

Upon using a new character slot, the process of creating a character begins. This determines their characteristics, such as Hero and their respective Mastery, passive talents, appearance, and name. One can have a new weapon mastery for their chosen hero upon reaching level 40.
