An Autoconfirmed user is a user group with certain privileges. Users in this group are added automatically.
Requirements[edit]
Only registered accounts can be autoconfirmed. There are two requirements:
- The account must be old.
- The user must have an adequate password.
- The user must save an amount of edits to any page.
Password Policy[edit]

It is suggested that an Autoconfirmed User's password:
- Is at least 1 character long.
- Is less than 4,096 characters long.
- Is not a substring within their username.
- Is not in the list of 100,000 most commonly used passwords.
- Is not the same as their username.
- Does not match a specific list of default passwords.

Autoconfirmed users gain the following rights:
- Edit protected pages set to 'allow only autoconfirmed users'.
- Unaffected by IP-based rate limits.
- Skip CAPTCHA tests.
