This article is about The large user interface element. For the smaller heads-up display, see Minimap.
The Map, opened with M by default, is the user interface element that marks the player's location and other points of interest, including NPCs, Workbenches, and Zones. Players can add their own markers to the map, which may be shared to other players in the in-game chat.
Mechanics[edit]
- A Quest log found via the arrow in the top-right corner contains a list of all currently-accepted quests. Each quest has an eye icon next to it which enables or disables tracking for that quest. Clicking each quest will display more information related to the quest, such as related dialogue, quest locations, and quest rewards.
- Custom markers can be placed by clicking the icon in the bottom-left corner and then clicking a location on the map. Clicking on placed markers opens a menu where the player can share, delete, or edit the marker.
- Players can filter different points of interest by clicking the icon in the top-left corner of the map. The player can choose to filter out NPCs, POIs, Craftbenches, and player-made Marks.
