Butchery is a Gathering Profession that allows the player to harvest resources from the carcasses of low-level creatures.

A butchery node can be identified with blood floating above a carcass.
There are three tiers of butchery node: Lower, Middle, and Prime.

The Butchery Workbench is used to refine resources gathered via butchery.
Nearby workbenches can be identified with the Butchery Icon.png icon on the Minimap.
