Corepunk takes place in a world called Kwalat. Kwalat was once the epicenter of a cataclysm that changed its geography. One can find many features of the cataclysm in the wastelands: anomalistic zones, forgotten ruins, and remains of devices that were once created by unthinkable technology. Kwalat was once home to a race of warriors, known as the Ancients, who had ruled the universe before the cataclysm.
