Hey there, cowboy! / Howdy! / Salutations! / Yo!

Dialogue Who Are You Icon.png
Hello there, they call me Nia Sundance, a Qaddari escapee.
I used to be just a tiny cog in the giant tech machine of Qaddari, crunching code till the wee hours.
One day I decided I'd had enough of the sterile cubicles and the artificial glow of computer screens. So, I packed up my codes and hitched a ride to Goldenfield.
Now, I've traded the hum of servers for the whisper of the wind, the virtual reality for the verdant reality, but old habits die hard, eh?
I still code, more out of love than necessity, working remotely on fascinating projects, but on my own terms.
And the best part? I do it while lounging under the open sky, getting high with nature's own gifts.
It's a wild ride, from binary to botany, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
Seeing that you're new, I could share a thing or two about something I discovered recently - Herbalism. It's so darn cool, man!
You see, you'll be dealing with stuff from enormous, dense Kwalat bushes. These babies are like whole ecosystems living by their own rules.
And let me tell you, the older and larger the bush, the more valuable the resources it hides.
The bushes come in three tiers - Thick Buch, Old Bush, and Ancient Bush. The bigger, the more complex the life within, and thus, more expensive and rare the resources they can give you.
You can get a whole lot of different things - Hazelnuts, Jute, Silkworm Caterpillars, Fragrant Roots.
Blue Lotus, Six-Leaf Clover, Carnivorous Plant, and my personal favourite - Magic Weeds. They're not as common, though.
Petrified Spikes are quite rare. They're prickly little buggers. And if you ever come across a Ranbow Snail, well, that's something. They are super rare around these parts.
I usually find these bushes in Skylight Grasslands and the Sunweave Glade. There are lots more in Windreach Woods and Dusktide Forest, but I don't go there - those places make me nervous. In Westwind Woods, you'll only find rocks.
Once, I found a lonely little bush in the Goldenfield fields.
Just near my crib, you'll find a crafting bench. That's why I chose this spot, man.
You can work on Cloth, Composite Material, Organic Gel, and Natural Oil. And, let me tell you, the Natural Oil is fantastic for your skin.

Living the dream, cowboy!
I'm on Cloud 9, literally and metaphorically.
Just surfing the cosmic waves of code and consciousness.
Dialogue What Is This Place Icon.png
Goldenfield? It's paradise, man!
Fresh air, clean code, and a joint of the good stuff.
It's like living inside a Bob Ross painting.
Dialogue Help Icon.png [If not accepted A Nutty Favor]
Need a little favor, if you're game. / Sure thing, could use some help. / Yeah, got a tiny quest for you.
Look, I need to focus on my meditation, but my skin is screaming for a Natural Oil face mask.
You can often find Hazelnuts hidden in the bushes around. If you could find some and turn them into Natural Oil, you'd truly be saving my day!
Not only would it help my poor skin, but it's also a great way to learn about Herbalism.
And trust me, Natural Oil is pure gold. It's like a hundred spa treatments in one tiny bottle!
I'll make sure your efforts are well rewarded!
Dialogue I'll Do It Icon.png [A Nutty Favor]
You're incredible!
Remember to process those Hazelnuts into Natural Oil at the crafting table.
Dialogue No Icon.png
No worries. Maybe some other time then? / Not your thing, huh? That's all right. Peace! / Oh, that's a bummer. But it's cool, I totally get it.
Dialogue Help Icon.png [If completed A Nutty Favor but not accepted Focus Fuel]
Need a little favor, if you're game. / Sure thing, could use some help. / Yeah, got a tiny quest for you.
You see, I've got this project. It's a spaghetti code monster, a real Hydra. Cut one bug and two more spawn.
It's what you get when folks don't use Test-Driven Development from the get-go.
The logic's all entangled, like vines in a jungle, and just as wild. Which makes it kinda exciting. But boy, does it need a focus boost to untangle.
That's where this plant, the Transparent Leaf, comes in. It's not just your average psychedelic, it gives a helluva focus boost. Turns the jungle into a zen garden.
Now, about fetchin' those leaves. You won't find 'em at your local plant nursery. I hear tell they grow on some rare trees in the woods around these parts.
So how 'bout it? Up for a little adventure, cowboy?
Dialogue I'll Do It Icon.png
You're the best! Thanks a heap!
Don't forget, those Transparent Leaves won't just be lying around. You'll need to look for the rare trees they grow on.
Dialogue No Icon.png
Aye, it s the wild west out there. / Bummer, guess I'll keep spacing out. / No problemo, happy trails.
Dialogue Help Icon.png [If not completed A Nutty Favor or accepted Focus Fuel]
All good in the hood, no quests for you. / No gigs for now, just chilling. / Nah, fully operational here.
Dialogue Side Quest Incomplete Icon.png [If not completed A Nutty Favor]
Any luck with those Hazelnuts? No rush, just curious! / How's the Herbalism going? Got the Natural Oil yet? / Remember, it's all about the process. Take your time.
Dialogue Yes Icon.png
Ah, just what the doctor ordered! This Natural Oil is perfect. And look at you, getting your feet wet in Herbalism. Good on ya!
Dialogue Side Quest Incomplete Icon.png [If accepted Focus Fuel]
Don't let those leaves leaf you behind. / Keep an eye out for those shiny leaves. / Transparent Leaves are the key, cowboy.
Dialogue Yes Icon.png [If completed Focus Fuel]
You're my hero! Let's code and roll.
