I'm Martha "Big Mamma" Potterson, the best dark cook this side of the universe.

I used to be a fancy pants chef back in my world, then I got zapped into Kwalat in a cooking accident.

Now, I've become the mama bear to all these inter-universe folks, feeding 'em and nurturing 'em the best I can.

Oh, honey, it's been a whirlwind. The Elan government decided to feed newcomers basic food, which means I'm cookin' round the clock.

It's a lot of work, especially since Goldenfield's become a hotspot for all these inter-universe travellers. I'm talkin' beings who've tasted delicacies from galaxies I've never even heard of!

Everyone's always hungry, and not everyone's nice about it. It ain't easy pleasing all these different palates. One man's delicacy is another man's space worm, if you catch my drift.

But you know what they say, 'If you can't stand the heat, get out of the intergalactic kitchen.' Or something like that.

But don't you worry about Big Mamma. I've seen it all, and a few grumpy aliens won't get me down. Just another day in the life!

This here is Goldenfield, a small, usually quiet Elanien town. Used to be not much happening around here.

But then that darn portal became active not too long ago, and it's been a regular space circus ever since.

Despite the changes, there's still a lot of heart in this town. And that's what makes it home.

Why, ain't you as kind as a June afternoon? I got something you could help with.

By law, everyone's supposed to get several loaves of bread. That's the Newcomer Welfare Program of Elan for ya. But honey, I'm too busy cooking for everyone.

So how bout you learn to cook some break? Be a little more independent, ya know? You'll need to bring some Wheat Flour.

You can use my kitchen to bake. Who knows, you might just find you have a knack for this baking business!
