A workbench is a place where players can craft items or refine gathered materials. Different workbenches correspond to different unique professions. They are also used to access the Synthesis Machine.
Usage
Workbenches are usually grouped in cities. The cursor changes into a cog icon when hovering over them.
To use a workbench, the player must interact with it. Interacting with a workbench opens crafting panel.
The panel can be switched between the current profession and the Synthesis Machine via the tabs in the bottom-left corner.
At the top, the corresponding profession's name, Mastery Level, and Experience are displayed. Below them is an overview of the Efficiencies of all Gathering Professions (on the left) and Crafting Professions (on the right).
On the left, a list of all items with currently known recipes is shown. This list can be filtered by using the search bar, checking the "Can Create" checkbox (which only displays items that can be crafted using the items currently in the player's Inventory), or by clicking the "Choose Filters" dropdown.
Upon selecting an item from the list, its crafting ingredients and their quantity are shown. A icon will appear if a workbench is required for crafting the item.
Players can then select the quantity they need to craft, and select the create button to begin the crafting process.
Appearance
Nearby workbenches can be found with their icons on the Minimap.
