I'm here on my first field assignment. I really consider myself lucky. Other guys from my course had to go to the Salt Lakes or the Fiery Fields. Ugh.

I thought you were local. This is a backwater village. Took me a day and a half to get here from the capital.

I was supposed to study the behavioral patterns of the Gnaticus Prolificus, or gnats as you, village people, call them.

I put tracking devices on young gnats and now have their behavioral patterns, but I DO NOT have the tracking devices.

They cost a fortune for our department. Never thought these gnats would be so intimidating in real life.

Oh, Gosh, if I mess it up, the Master Censor will definitely send me on an expedition to the Fiery Fields. So, yes, here I am asking a layman for help.

It'd mean everything to me, if you killed these gnats and got the tracking devices back from them.
