An item is an object that can appear in a Character's Inventory. Players may store items in banks.
Acquisition[edit]
Items can be gathered, crafted, traded with players, rewarded by quests, picked up from killed enemies and players, or bought from a cosmetic shop using real money.
Items that can be picked up from the ground are represented by floating 3D models of the item. These items cannot be seen or picked up by other players.
Some items are Binding on equip or on pickup, meaning they cannot be traded between players.
Quality[edit]
An item's Quality denotes its rarity. There are different qualities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The quality of a crafted item depends on the lowest quality item used to craft it.
Types[edit]
Items can be split into different groups depending on what they are used for:
- Armor is a wearable cosmetic item.
- Artifacts are items that have passive or active bonuses when used on the skill bar.
- Chips are items used to upgrade weapons.
- Consumables are single-use items that provide an effect upon interaction.
- Crafting Materials are items that are only used in crafting recipes.
- Quest Items are unique items that can only be used during quests.
- Raw Materials are refinable items acquired via gathering.
- Runes are items used to upgrade artifacts.
- Weapons are equippable items that deal damage.
