This article is about Artifact upgrades. For Weapon upgrades, see Chips.
Runes are used to upgrade an Artifact by giving it bonus effects when an event is triggered.

A preview of an uncommon Hedgehog rune with the "more information" option toggled.
Acquisition
Runes can be crafted with Mysticism and exchanged between players.
Attribtues
A rune's attributes are affected by its Quality. A higher quality means a higher scale factor for its statistics (abbreviated to stats).
Crafted runes have additional effects if higher-quality runes were used to craft them.
