Warlock

Warlocks are mages who are highly skilled in damage-over-time curses. They can create tethers with enemies to deal damage, or with allies to heal them by sacrificing their own health. The Book of the Dead is their primary weapon.

The Warlock is a Pain Reaper Mastery that wields a Book of the Dead.

Abilities[edit]

The Warlock launches a chain in the target direction, tethering themselves to it, lasting 10 seconds. If the distance between the Warlock and the target exceeds 8 meters, the tether is broken.
Arrow.png When tethered to an ally, the Warlock sacrifices a portion of their Health Icon.png Health to heal (Spirit) the ally. Healing increases over time.
Arrow.png When tethered to an enemy, the enemy is dealt increasing magic damage ( Spell Power Icon.png Spell Power) over time.

The Warlock drains the target enemy's Health Icon.png Health for 7 seconds. It periodically deals magic damage ( Spell Power Icon.png Spell Power) to the enemy whilst simultaneously healing (Spirit) the Warlock a higher amount.
The ability can affect two enemies at once.

E (Warlock)
The Warlock's next basic attack on the target enemy fears them for 2 seconds (Spirit). The ability can then be re-cast on an ally, binding their and the enemy's souls together.
When the fear effect expires, magic damage ( Spell Power Icon.png Spell Power) is dealt over 10 seconds and movement speed is reduced by 30% (Spirit) for 3 seconds. The bound ally is healed (Spirit) by a higher amount of health the target enemy loses.

The Warlock's damage-over-time effects explode on enemies, each dealing magic damage ( Spell Power Icon.png Spell Power).

The Warlock's healing effects restore more Health Icon.png Health (Spirit).

The effects remain active on their targets.
Special (Warlock).png
Special (Warlock)
For every active damage-over-time debuff on an enemy, the Warlock gets +5% Spell Power Icon.png Spell Power.

For every active buff on an ally, the Warlock gains 5% Healing Efficiency.

Upon activation, the Warlock gets -20% Health Icon.png Health to shield them for 300% of the sacrificed Health Icon.png Health and increase movement speed by 30% for 5 seconds.
