“Defenders are tanks who use their sword and shield in a melee fight. They can withstand a lot of incoming damage and help reduce damage to their allies. While in a group, Defenders taunt enemies to make sure they’re the ones taking the most damage and attacks.
The Defender is a Champion Mastery that wields a sword and shield.
Abilities[edit]
The Defender's abilities can be seen below:
Q (Defender)
The Defender empowers their next basic attack for 7 seconds. Empowered basic attacks deal more physical damage ( Attack Power), and give the Defender a stack which reduces incoming damage ( Armor, Magic Resistance) by 3% for 10 seconds (with a maximum of 5 stacks).
W (Defender)
The Defender throws their shield at the target, stunning (Spirit) them. Upon collision, it ricochets several times, dealing physical damage ( Attack Power).
E (Defender)
The Defender jumps to the target location, dealing physical damage ( Attack Power) upon landing and taunting all enemies for 2 seconds.
R (Defender)
The Defender raises their shield, reflecting all incoming damage to the enemy. The Defender is still able to move while reflecting the damage and becomes immune to crowd control and damage. They create an area behind them in which allies take reduced incoming damage (Spirit).
Special (Defender)
The Defender gains bonus Armor and +5/10 Magic Resistance (Vitality) for each enemy within 3 meters of them.
